Like Colleen & Jason.

I’ve known Jason for over 20 years & he’s the brother I never had.  He met the gorgeous Colleen many moons ago in London & the two of them are really great together.

We had the pleasure of catching up when they were visiting the Gold Coast late last year & we couldn’t resist taking some engagement photos for them.

We know Colleen & Jason will be in our lives always & we are so excited for them to be tying the knot.

Emily & Jeremy’s wedding was all about having fun… and of course celebrating two people in love.

The Gold Coast really turned up the sunshine – there was stunning light for us to work with during the photo shoot and The Glades was such a beautiful setting.

It was a day of smiles from start to finish.  The gorgeous Emily was a glowing bride & let’s just say Jeremy was a brave man letting her near him with a golf club!

Congratulations to you both – we wish you a lifetime of happiness together…

What a fun wedding Asami & Shane had at Currumbin!  Their ceremony was held in the ever-popular Len Wort Park & the weather couldn’t have been better.

Asami was such a radiant bride with a gorgeous smile on her face all day (& how beautiful is her floral headpiece?!). We had a very entertaining photo shoot with the whole bridal party… they were all cracking up & having a great time.

Congratulations Asami & Shane – we’re sure your future will continue to be full of smiles…

Renee & Liam’s wedding was held at a property on The Panorama at Tallai & the views of the Gold Coast were fantastic.

We were the wedding photographers at Renee’s brother’s wedding & it was great to see so many familiar faces again.

When it comes to style and planning an event, Fleur was in her element, as these are two of her specialties!  We loved her dress, her shoes, her accessories… she looked stunning.  The chapel was dramatic, the outdoor canapes by the river really set the mood and the reception was styled beautifully.

Fleur & Jason complement each other really well & when you first meet them, you can see they are meant to be together.  There was a glowing exchange of looks between them all day and much laughter with the bridal party… in fact they all had us in stitches most of the time!

We felt privileged to be a part of this wedding & felt like we were in the company of friends.  It is one we will always remember and we know Fleur & Jason will cherish the day’s memories as well.

Michelle was every bit the glowing bride… & with good reason to be.  Their gorgeous ceremony was held at Captain Burke Park, next to the Storey Bridge in Brisbane.  The ceremony was right under a huge tree with branches that created a private canopy overhead & it felt quite magical.  Hard to believe that you can get that much privacy and still be just steps away from amazing CBD & river views.

After the guests had congratulated the newlyweds, we went to the Kangaroo Point Cliffs for some photos & midway through the shoot, a busload of Chinese tourists pulled over to the side of the road, got out of the bus and started taking happy snaps of Michelle & Jordan!

Suddenly they had about 20 “photographers” join the shoot and the bridal couple were in stitches laughing.  Then just as quickly as they had appeared, the tourists got back on the bus & waved out the window as they drove off down the street.

A ride in a CityCat took us to the wedding reception at Bretts Wharf, where they had a glamorous cocktail party with antique black & white jewel theming.  We set up a Photo Booth corner, the dancefloor was bustling & the laughs continued well into the night…

When we first saw Rebecca’s bridal gown, our jaws dropped… it was simply gorgeous & she carried it off beautifully.  Rebecca looked like someone out of a fairytale & her two flower girls were the perfect complement.  They were just adorable & we loved their flower wands… so cute.

Rebecca & Brad were married at Teneriffe in a beautiful setting by the Brisbane River.  Their reception was at the nearby Eves on the River, which is located in the historic Mactaggarts Place Woolstore.  The surrounding buildings were all rich in heritage and provided a great backdrop.

Rebecca & Brad’s wedding was elegant from start to finish.  Just like a fairytale, we hope they live happily ever after…

When we first met Rosie & Kevin, they told us they didn’t want cheesy wedding photos… they wanted “great photos that happened to be taken at a wedding”.  We knew straight away that we were going to LOVE their wedding… & we did.

With Rosie & Kevin both being creative & very talented (an artist & a musician), their wedding had so many personalised touches that made it truly unique.

The Fig Tree Restaurant & Rooms is a gorgeous wedding venue & was the perfect choice for them.  What a fun wedding it was for us to capture… thank you Rosie & Kevin for letting us be part of your celebrations.
